Web Client

BDS is accessible through most standard Web browsers, as well as many browsers on mobile devices and smart phones. The Web application is easy to use, and shares many of the characteristics of a Web-based email application, including addressing recipients by their email addresses, a subject line, and a place to enter a message. Recipients are notified of their deliveries via an email that contains a message and an embedded URL. However, BDS goes beyond simple email functionality, and provides facilities for sending a secure message, automatic expiration, multi-level password protection, guaranteed return receipt, and flexible notification options.

With support for robust features such as integration with global address lists to access corporate contacts, drag-and-drop of files, and checkpoint restart, the Web client's advanced features and intuitive user interface components simplify the file transfer process, without forcing users to download and install a thick client.

TESTIMONIALS

"BDS helps IT provide services that are specific to our business needs. People need to send large files and now we can help them do that. Instead of saying no you can't send that file, it's too large, we now say you can send it with BDS."
Messaging Administrator,
Con-way Inc.

"BDS was an integral part of making the acquisition of Slade's Ferry Bancorp successful, there won't even be a question of how we're going to get the files from another acquisition next time; BDS will be built into the project plan from the start."
Information Risk/Security Architect,
Rockland Trust Company
