Biscom Delivery Server Announces Secure Workspace and iPad Development

Biscom announces secure collaboration and iPad interface projects

Chelmsford, MA August 22, 2011 – Biscom Delivery Server 4.1 will soon include a Secure Workspace feature to help people collaborate on projects easily and securely. With drag and drop support, update notifications, and granular access control and permissions, Secure Workspace will enable users to share confidential files among internal and external users quickly and easily.

In addition to Secure Workspaces, Biscom will be releasing a BDS iPad application that will give mobile users access to their secure files, with Android and iPhone applications to follow soon after.

“The growing mobile community has been asking for a BDS application that works on iPad and Android, and we’re receiving good responses to our initial prototypes,” says Mark Eaton, Biscom’s Director of Sales, “and although BDS has always supported collaboration through our file packages, the new Secure Workspace feature brings collaboration to the next level of functionality and ease of use.”
