Richard Orlando, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Dick brings more than 25 years of experience in executive-level management positions in the technology industry to his role as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Biscom. He is responsible for developing new divisions of the company, launching new initiatives, and growing revenues, as well as managing strategic relationships. Dick’s core competency is increasing revenues and profitability through the development of cost-effective direct, indirect, and partner distribution sales channels, as well as sales processes, for start-up and emerging technology companies. 

Most recently, Dick was Vice President, Business Development, for Dextrys (formerly Darwin/Suzsoft), a leading U.S. IT services firm for outsourcing to China, where he was instrumental in developing the company’s U.S. sales and marketing strategy. As the Senior Vice President of Sales for a CMGI incubator company, Dick created a distribution network of more than 1200 partner sites, as well as direct and indirect sales channels, and attained market share leadership for this leading Internet company. He also has experience developing and creating a commercial sales division for a major reseller growing sales to $22 million in two years. He became the youngest vice president at Wang Laboratories, Inc. as VP of Sales and Operations with P& L responsibility for Wang’s largest domestic business unit of $450 million in revenue.

Dick has extensive operational, field sales, marketing, and general management experience in the high tech industry -- with proven success in growth, turnaround and start-up situations.
Dick received a B.S. in Business Management from Northeastern University. He is a guest lecturer for the Babson University MBA Program and is a member of TiE Boston (India) and NECINA (China) organizations.


William Ho, Vice President of Internet Products


Bill brings more than 18 years of Internet and software experience in the technology field to his position as Vice President of Internet Products at Biscom. He is general manager of the company’s Delivery Server division and is also responsible for the oversight of all Internet Product development. Prior to joining Biscom, Bill was CEO and founder of vVault, an award-winning software application that was a pioneer of online document storage and management applications. Bill also held positions at CNET where he developed and launched several of their Web properties, and at Oracle where he worked in the Financial Applications division as a software engineer. Bill received a BS from Stanford University and an MS from Harvard University, both in the field of Computer Science.


Sharif Rahman, Chief Software Architect, Internet Products

Sharif brings more than 15 years of experience of product development and management experience to Biscom, where he leads the design, development, and deployment of BDS and related products. Prior to joining Biscom, Sharif was the co-founder of vVault, an award-winning software application that was a pioneer of online document storage and management applications. Before founding vVault, he was an Applications Architect in Oracle's Financial Application division. Sharif specializes in architecting large-scale database applications and database performance tuning, and was awarded a patent on the Mass Maintenance feature of Oracle General Ledger. Sharif graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in physics from Ohio Wesleyan, a B.S. with honors in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
